  We’ve been taking our cats and dog to Oliver Animal Hospital since 2018, and we truly can’t say enough good things about this team. The veterinarians and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and always take the time to explain options clearly without ever making you feel rushed or pressured. They’re friendly, organized, and genuinely easy to work with — scheduling, follow-ups, and communication have always been smooth and professional. What really sets Oliver apart, though, is how deeply they care about the animals in their care. It’s obvious that this isn’t just a job for them — they truly love what they do. They greet our pets by name, celebrate the good visits, and show real empathy during the hard ones. When our cat was diagnosed with cancer, they handled an incredibly upsetting situation with grace, compassion, and honesty. They walked us through every step, answered every question, and supported us in making the best decisions for our family. We never felt alone in the process. If you’re looking for a veterinary team in Austin that is skilled, kind, and genuinely invested in your pets’ wellbeing, I highly recommend Oliver Animal Hospital. We’re so grateful to have found them.

  We have visited a few vets in Austin and once we found Oliver we have not gone anywhere else. They treat our dogs with kindness and respect, and above all else they treat to find root cause issues and solve them instead of “band aid” approaches.

  I brought my dog Cheetah in for her regular shots. After we were put into a room, the nurse came in and told us our appt would be delayed, as there was a goodbye with the dog in the next room. All of the staff at Oliver Animal Hospital are so kind and professional, and it was nice of Candice to let us know in advance of the short delay. Cheetah is always in good hands at OAH.

  Oliver Animal Hospital truly takes incredible care of my dog, and that means everything to me. From the moment we walk in, the staff treats my dog with genuine kindness, patience, and respect — not like just another appointment, but like a member of their own family. They take the time to get to know my dog’s personality, explain what they’re seeing, and walk me through options without pressure. I never feel rushed, and I always leave feeling reassured and confident that my dog is getting the best care possible. You can tell they love what they do, and that level of compassion shows in every interaction. Knowing my dog is safe, comfortable, and truly cared for makes all the difference. I’m incredibly grateful for the entire team at Oliver Animal Hospital and wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else. 🐾❤️

  I know Luna is always so well taken care of when she’s with Dr Oliver! Caitlynn and Kandice were wonderful in helping to get her annual taken care of, distracting her with plenty of treats and food. They make going to their office a breeze.
